Linnita Hosten


Girl empowerment guru Linnita Hosten began a life of service at the age of 19. Starting on her college campus, Linnita served in various student leadership and community engagement roles where she developed a passion for youth development in the areas of: student leadership, character education, and real-world readiness.

In 2013, Linnita launched her platform as a national speaker providing, custom empowerment programing for organizations, schools and community groups that serve young women ages 16-25. 

With over 400 hours of presentation delivery and an 84% referral rate, Linnita has had the privilege of speaking for the United States Army, Georgetown University, Howard University, Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, several public school systems and many community organizations.

Linnita is often hired to teach mindset management, personal marketability, and student leadership.

The hybrid-prenuer is an adjunct professor of oral communication at Anne Arundel Community College where she equips emerging young professionals with public speaking skills.

Linnita has passionately served the Prince George’s County community in various roles to include: Head Cheerleading Coach for Prince George’s County Public Schools, College Access Advisor for First Generation College Bound, English and math tutor for Educational Dimensions and Speaker’s Bureau Member for the Maryland Business Roundtable.

Linnita is an active member of St. Stephen Baptist Church in Temple Hills, MD and currently serves as an Executive Board Member for the Towson University Alumni Association and other community organizations.
