Kendal is an advocate who champions for peace, justice, and equality. He inspired the creation of the first Young Democrat’s Public Safety Caucus in America, bridging the gap and healing the relationship between public safety, legislators, and the people that they serve. Kendal champions to end poverty and domestic violence while safeguarding our youth and providing services for seniors.
Recently, Kendal was selected by Black Enterprise as one of the top 100 modern men in America, and dubbed “Mr. Public Safety.” Most recently, Kendal announced his candidacy for Sheriff of Prince George’s County. If elected, he will be the youngest African-American Sheriff in the 21st-century in the United States.
A graduate from Largo High School, he currently studies Organizational Leadership at Johns Hopkins University.
