Kehli Cage is a founding board member of the Society for Girls, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment of young girls. As the Director of Programming, Kehli, along with the Society for Girls, Inc., has contributed to the educational development of thousands of young girls throughout PG County. The Society for Girls, Inc. teaches girls to be smart, resourceful, and confident by engaging them in their communities, building their self-esteem, and encouraging them to make a positive mark on the world!
Kehli is an Executive Board Member and Director of Mentoring for Young Government Leaders (YGL). In this role, she oversees the mentoring program, with partners including Brooking Executive Education and Senior Executive Association. Kehli also sits on the Advisory Board of the “Next Generation of Government Conference.”
The onset of her career began at the White House, serving in the Presidential Protection Division of the United States Secret Service during the Obama Administration. Prior to the end of the Obama administration, Kehli had the opportunity to serve on the Transformation Task Force work group at the White House, as a means to modernize government. Kehli is currently an Ethics Specialist in the Office of Government Ethics.
Kehli received her undergraduate degree in Public Relations from Bowie State University and received her graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Trinity Washington University. Kehli is proud public servant, who believes in the power of “giving back,” thus her keen interest in Mentoring. She deems herself a “lifelong learner” as she believes that we never stop learning.
