Milton David


Milton David has dedicated his life to serving the youth of the community with a drive and determination to ensure their development is ongoing in order to become spiritually and morally strong, eventually empowering them to take charge as community leaders.

Harris currently serves as the youth minister at the First Baptist Church of District Heights, where the senior pastor is Dr. Robert Manning. He oversees the spiritual growth of all the youth and also serves as the director of the teen ministry, Ablaze. He previously served as a lead communicator for First Baptist Church of Glenarden’s youth ministry, Merge. Additionally, Harris serves as the spiritual resources director with the online ministry, Disciples Thru Media, which is a ministry that exists to produce life change by educating, training, and discipling people through multimedia venues. In addition, he is a fulltime US Capitol police officer. Harris is dedicated to helping raise a generation of anointed young people, who are unashamed to live for Jesus Christ.

Harris received a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is currently enrolled at Dallas Theological Seminary School (Washington, DC, satellite location) pursuing a master’s degree in Christian leadership. Harris and his wife of nine years, Tracy, reside in Brandywine, with their son, Jayden, and they have another son due in February 2016.
