Marcus L. Green
Marcus L. Green at an early age showed a desire to differentiate himself from the mold that categorizes the masses. He has more than twelve years of professional experience in the information technology industry working for Big Four audit firms. He currently works for CGI Federal in the area of enterprise resource package systems. In his career, Green has been recognized many times for his outstanding work ethic and quality of work.
He is also a photographer, capturing events both domestic and abroad. He founded GreenThumb Photography, which has fueled his desire to improve on the last image. His clients love his ability to find art in any moment. Green enjoys giving back to the youth in his community. He organized, funded, and led an initiative that met with fifth graders weekly to perform science projects. Since 2010, Green has been actively involved with the molding of youth through sports. Through community organizations, such as the Boys & Girls Clubs, Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation, and Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), he has served as coach and positive example to many of the county’s youth.
A native of Gates, North Carolina, Green received a bachelor’s degree and a master of science degree in computer science from North Carolina A&T State University. Although he has several vices and areas of interest, his greatest fulfillment comes from being a loving husband to his wife of eleven years and father to his two wonderful kids.
