Shauntia White, an alumna of the Hillman Entrepreneurs program, is an aspiring clinical social worker who has an interest in improving the lives of residents in Prince George’s County. She brings a wealth of insight to the interview and selection process within the Hillman Entrepreneurs program at Prince George’s Community College, Montgomery College, and the University of Maryland, College Park. White was awarded the School of Public Health Dean Senior Scholar Award at University of Maryland, College Park. She was also a recipient of the Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (CIE) scholars program and the Entrepreneurship and Empowerment in South Africa (EESA) program at Oklahoma State University.
White mentored high school students at the first nationally recognized entrepreneurship magnet high school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She serves as a student senator for the National Catholic School of Social Services. She is a member of the Greater Washington Society of Clinical Social Work and serves on the board as one of the student representatives. Her research has been accepted into national conferences and symposiums across the country.
White received a bachelor’s degree in family science from University of Maryland and a master’s degree in human development and family science from Oklahoma State University.
