John Anderson III
John Anderson III is a firm believer in the simple principle, “to whom much is given, much is required.” An alumnus of the prestigious DeMatha Catholic High School, University of North Carolina at Charlotte ( bachelor of science degree), and University of Maryland University College (master of science degree), John continues to positively impact his community. He shares knowledge gained from years of business experience and advocating for youth within the community. Anderson currently serves as a contract specialist for the US Department of Defense, working to support the continuation and further development of the Navy Multi-Mission Helicopter Program (MH-60) through the direct procurement of supplies and services.
Anderson owns and operates LegalNeeds32 process serving, based in Washington, DC. In his spare time, he fulfills his obligation to service through various roles of leadership within his local chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (Kappa Epsilon Lambda Chapter). He is currently the chair of the Prince George’s County recognized PROJECT ALPHA Young Men’s Empowerment Conference and cochair of the annual Kappa Epsilon Lambda College Fair, Go-to-High School, Go-to-College.
Anderson serves as an officer on the board of the National Contracts Management Association (NCMA Chesapeake Bay Chapter) and is an active participant in the national honor society, Phi Kappa Phi. He is currently developing the outline for the 2015 PROJECT ALPHA Young Men’s Empowerment Conference, which entails a field trip to the White House and Capitol. He is also anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first child, Dylan Andrew Anderson.
