William Gary Lash Sr.
William Gary Lash Sr. has more than twelve years of experience in systems and process/program management. He is experienced in all phases of the project management and systems/software development lifecycle. Lash has led several efforts to provide business strategy, change management, and system solutions to various private and public sector clients. In addition to process improvement, Lash is proficient in creating strategic alliances, strategic communications, competency modeling, requirements analysis, quality assurance testing, and training delivery. He has garnered significant continuous improvement results in the manufacturing, service, and transactional markets.
Lash has professional certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Master Black Belt), Project Management Institute Project Management Professional, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library. He is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, with a bachelor of science degree in computer science, and George Mason University with a master of science degree in systems engineering.
Lash currently serves as a board member of the Washington, DC, chapter of North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association, Inc.; board member for the National Capital Region of March of Dimes; member of the 100 Black Men Coalition of Washington, DC; and a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Additionally, Lash has served on various panels to promote the enhancement of opportunities for minorities in technology careers, improve processes, and provide leadership in activities that foster a better understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
