Riche Holmes Grant
Riche Holmes Grant is an attorney, entrepreneur, and native Prince Georgian. In 2003, Grant founded Innovative Study Techniques (IST), an educational services company that specializes in test preparation, tutoring, and admissions consulting. As president, she trains the instructional team, develops course curricula, and designs custom academic programs for organizational clients. IST has worked with thousands of students in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area and beyond.
In 2007, Grant cofounded LevelTen, a nonprofit focused on closing the nation’s achievement gap. In 2011, Grant founded Generation Ed (GenEd), a nonprofit dedicated to equipping parents with practical tools to become better teachers in their homes.
Inspired by her new role as a mom, Grant launched BambiniWare in 2013, a functional and fashionable baby products line for moms and babies. In January 2014, Grant will showcase BambiniWare in Los Angeles at an exclusive Pre-Golden Globes celebrity gifting suite for Hollywood moms and dads.
Grant is a member of the New York and Maryland bars. She has served as education policy advisor to Delegate Jay Walker of the 26th Legislative District of Maryland; on the Maryland Governor’s Commission on Small Business; and on the board of directors of the national nonprofit, GirlTrek.
Grant is a graduate of Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Prince George’s County. She has a bachelor of arts degree in public policy from Brown University (which included a year at The London School of Economics and Political Science) and a juris doctor from Columbia Law School.
