Kirk Mensah

Kirk Mensah is an experienced mortgage analyst with a focus on compliance, in the Federal Housing Administration’s Mortgagee Review Board Division of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Mensah works with a team that recommends lenders that are not in compliance with FHA’s lending requirements to the board for administrative action. His efforts help remove the bad lenders, protect FHA’s insurance fund, and ensure that Americans can continue to achieve homeownership.

Mensah is committed to service as evidenced through his mentoring and tutoring activities with underserved high school males in the community, his service on the board of The Children’s House at HUD, a nonprofit board focused on making childcare at HUD affordable and enriching, and pro bono personal training to promote a healthy lifestyle to those who otherwise would not have access to such services.

Mensah is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and believes that to effect change, you must get involved. Most recently, Kirk helped raise funds so that a local high school student could attend the People to People international travel education program. Mensah earned his bachelor of science degree in economics and finance from Virginia State University, where he was conference champion hurdler.
