Courtney Glass, Esquire, is a government relations attorney with the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs of the Office of the Prince George’s County Executive. Before joining the Office of the County Executive, she was an attorney with one of the top Maryland government relations firms, Harris Jones & Malone, LLC.
During her past General Assembly sessions, she gained experience in various policy areas and helped craft legislation that became law. Glass began her career in government service in 2001, interning with Rushern L. Baker III during his tenure as chair of Prince George’s County delegation. She gained extensive knowledge about the workings of the legislative process in the Maryland General Assembly, initially as a legal intern in theHouse of Delegates and then legislative director of Prince George’s County Senate Delegation. She also served as a legal intern in former Congressman Albert Wynn’s Capitol Hill office in 2007.
Glass currently serves on the board of the Maryland Umbrella Group and the advisory board of The Williams Kellibrew Foundation and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She enjoys speaking with children and young adults about law and government affairs and gives career presentations to county school students.
A native of Prince George’s County, Glass received a juris doctor from the University of Maryland Baltimore, Francis King Carey School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Spelman College. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2010.
