Lisa Hall Johnson, a former Assistant State’s Attorney currently practicing complex civil litigation at DicksteinShapiro LLP, is a life-long resident of Prince George’s County and a proud product of our public schools. She encourages young people to pursue legal careers, nurtures diverse legal talent, and advises attorneys who wish to serve our community. Mrs. Hall Johnson is the Chairperson of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Leadership Academy Committee, a committee that trains young lawyers for bar leadership. She mentors law school graduates through the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association’s Bar Mentorship Project. She also mentors and teaches high school students in both the Street Law Program at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, and in the Maryland Judiciary’s Civics and Law Academy. In addition, Mrs. Hall Johnson advises local political campaigns and assists Maryland Legal Aid in their fundraising efforts.
