LáVita Simpson, CMP, an entrepreneur and consummate professional, established MyGreenApple, a boutique public affairs and communication firm in 2009. MyGreenApple has coordinated events, communications strategy and marketing material for regional elected officials, small business owners, federal government procurement leaders, political candidates and business development and educational agencies. Prior to founding MyGreenApple, LáVita served as a congressional staffer to Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, Washington, DC. In this position LáVita served as a congressional representative on both the national and District of Columbia 2009 Inaugural Steering Committees. An honors graduate of Prince George’s County Public Schools, LáVita graduated from Forestville High School in Forestville, MD. A passionate student, she quickly began her matriculation through Morgan State University as a candidate for a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations. Inspired early on by government, LáVita successfully completed coursework under the Department of Political Science and International Affairs.
