Kandace L. Foreman
Kandace L. Foreman has worked in the marketing and communications industry for more than 14 years managing special events, creative services, brand marketing, advertising, and social media. She is currently the deputy director of marketing and communications at the DC Public Library and sits on the library’s Art Review Committee.
Kandace serves as the public relations chair for Fort Washington Baptist Church and is a vacation Bible school teacher and member of the liturgical dance ministry, praise choir (president), mass choir, and fitness ministry. She also volunteers as a recruiter for Texas State University, her undergraduate alma mater.
For the last three years, Kandace has volunteered as one of three fitness instructors to offer free aerobics classes to the community at Fort Washington Baptist Church on Saturday mornings. Her students have enjoyed step aerobics and belly dancing infused with strength training. A fitness enthusiast, Kandace started a blog to keep herself and others motivated. Kandace is an avid cyclist and completed her first 100-mile ride in October at the Sea Gull Century hosted by Salisbury University on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. She was ranked a top fundraiser for Maryland’s Bike MS, a charity cycling event that raises money for multiple sclerosis research and other services supported by the National MS Society. Kandace resides in Fort Washington with her husband and children.
