Davion E. Percy, age 32, is a Government Relations Consultant with Alexander & Cleaver, PA, one of the top law firms in Maryland. There, he works on healthcare, public safety, criminal justice, energy, education policy, intergovernmental affairs, and more. Prior to joining the firm, Davion served a decade in Prince George’s County Government. For five of those years he served as County Council Member Karen Toles’ (D-Suitland) Constituent Services Specialist and Chief of Staff respectively. Davion acted as Council Member Toles’ community representative, liaison to the county’s public safety agencies, and advisor on public safety initiatives. As Chief of Staff, Davion advised on policy matters, and served as her staff liaison to the Health, Education, and Human Services committee.
In his spare time, Davion is an active member of the community. He serves on the Executive Committee of the NAACP’s Prince George’s County Chapter, Vice Chair of the United Communities Against Poverty Board of Directors, Vice Chair of the Suitland Mixed-Use Town Center Development Review Committee, and the Prince George’s County Young Democrats. Previously, Davion served on the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s DC Host Committee and as an Explorer Program Advisor with the Prince George’s County Police Department where he mentored young men and women who were exploring a career in Law Enforcement. In 2014, Davion was awarded the Obama Administration's Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for his work with the Police Department. Davion loves Prince George’s County and plans to continue to serve his community for many years to come.
